Overview:

Oftentimes when students are looking for reliable websites for research projects, they forget to analyze the URL.  The URL can provide you with valuable information that can help you determine whether or not you trust the site.  It can also help you decide which sites on your list of hits is worth clicking on and opening!

When you are analyzing the URL, be sure to look at the domain.  Some common domains are:
