Notes (10 marks)

  • Organized, logical, complete, useful

  • You may hand in typed or hand-written notes, but all notes must be in your own words -- do not simply cut and paste information.

Journal (30 marks)

  • THREE journal entries
  • Entries should be approximately 150 words each
  • Describes what you saw, heard and felt as a 16th century person.
  • Relates important information about your topic
  • Is written in first person, in language suitable for the person who is writing
  • Each entry is dated, chronological and representative of the time period (made to look old)
  • Employs effective descriptive language

Presentation (20 marks) - (An Enrichment Option)

  • Present your information in a creative and unique way (a skit, a radio play, a poster, a power point, an interview, Poem or rap, a game show, overheads etc…)
  • Each presentation should be approximately 5-10 minutes (including set-up time)
  • the information in your presentation should be accurate and clear. If the format of your presentation does not allow you to include all relevant information you might consider making an additional handout for the class (handed in a day early so your teacher can make copies)
  • Your presentation should be appropriate, informative and entertaining
  • YOUR PRESENTATION MUST INCLUDE A PROPER APA BIBLIOGRAPHY
